Puzzled Outcomes is an energetic rock album, drenched with confidence and brimming with attitude. Thematically, this collection is about moving beyond the faulty debris of our current predicament and on to whatever comes next. Trapper starts with smug contempt; takes us on a constant journey of whirling ideas, suggestive imagery, and clashing themes; and ultimately lands with a tentative upbeat hint of blue sky peaking through the imminent gloom.

Puzzled Outcomes cuts a wide swath through rock sub-genres, primarily resolving to a prog rock jam band sensibility. It’s all underpinned with gritty overdriven keyboard themes, creative bass lines, and backbeat rhythms that lead us on a journey through forceful anthems and eclectic interludes. This is all intentionally unsettling; but Trapper skillfully ushers us through the turmoil and delivers on the promise.
